Calm Parents Club LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates Eden, the AI companion service available at helloeden.io. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Eden, we collect:

Information you provide:

  • Phone number (for SMS messaging)
  • Payment information (processed by Stripe; we don't store full card numbers)
  • Information you share in conversations (name, location, preferences, etc.)
  • Email address if you contact support

Information collected automatically:

  • IP address and device information
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited on helloeden.io
  • Click events and traffic source (via Meta Pixel and similar tools)
  • Conversation timestamps and message metadata

Information from third parties:

  • Meta (Facebook) — ad attribution data when you arrive from a Meta ad
  • Stripe — payment processing data

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide the Eden service (send and receive messages, maintain conversation continuity)
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Improve the service (analyze conversation patterns at aggregate level)
  • Communicate with you (transactional emails, service updates)
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Send marketing communications (you can opt out)

3. Third-Party Service Providers

Eden uses these third-party services to operate:

  • Anthropic (AI processing): Conversation content is sent to Anthropic's API for AI response generation. Per Anthropic's policies, this data is not used to train their models.
  • Linq (SMS infrastructure): Handles SMS/iMessage delivery.
  • Stripe (payment processing): Handles all payment information.
  • Supabase (database hosting): Stores account and conversation data.
  • Vercel (hosting): Hosts our website and backend.
  • Meta (advertising): Receives anonymized conversion data via Pixel and Conversions API.
  • ElevenLabs (voice generation): Generates AI voice content when applicable.

Each service has its own privacy policy. We've selected providers with strong privacy practices.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure in the United States. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, including encryption in transit and at rest.

No system is 100% secure. If a data breach affects you, we will notify you per applicable law.

5. Conversation Data

Conversations you have with Eden's AI characters are stored to provide conversational continuity (so Mia remembers what you've shared). This includes:

  • Message content
  • Timestamps
  • Identity facts you share (name, location, preferences, etc.)
  • Conversation state

You can request deletion of your conversation history by emailing info@calmparentsclub.com.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data — request a copy of what we have about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Object to certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis
  • Data portability — receive your data in a portable format

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including:

  • Right to know what personal information we collect
  • Right to delete personal information
  • Right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights

8. International Users

Eden is operated from the United States. If you access Eden from outside the US, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the United States, which may have different privacy laws than your home country.

9. Children's Privacy

Eden is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it. Parents who believe their child has provided data to Eden should contact info@calmparentsclub.com.

10. Marketing and Communications

We may send you:

  • Transactional messages (subscription confirmations, payment receipts, service updates) — required, you cannot opt out while you have an active subscription
  • Marketing emails — you can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing info@calmparentsclub.com

You can opt out of marketing without affecting your subscription.

11. Cookies and Tracking

helloeden.io uses cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Remember your preferences
  • Analyze site traffic
  • Support advertising (via Meta Pixel)

You can disable cookies in your browser, though this may affect site functionality.

12. Data Retention

We retain your data:

  • During your active subscription
  • For 90 days after cancellation, to allow for resubscription
  • Longer if required by law (e.g., payment records for tax purposes)

After retention periods, data is deleted or anonymized.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-service notification. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
